The AAAE Board of Directors did not have a quorum present. Attending were Brenda Ackerson, Roger Head, Jerry Langston, Dorey Love, Greg Markovich, Lynn Nokes, Sally Pierce, Jacque Reese, and Cristel Smith. Justin Leflar was a guest at this meeting.

Combined Bank Accounts' Balance is at just over $36,500. Most of this money is set aside to start the planning of conferences and to support activities of the organization.

AAAE will support Lori Lamb's ALE/ADE educational programs at the $5,000 level.

Discussed hiring a part time administrator to conduct the day to day business of AAAE and to coordinate convention planning.

Call for members to volunteer for convention committees. Check with Debbie Faubus. Exhibitor fees discussed. Increase in fees recommended.

Brenda discussed the 2010 convention and asked for input on the convention site. Rogers Convention Center is being considered due to lower cost, proximity to neighboring states, and mini-vacation opportunities for families (Branson, Eureka Springs, etc).

President Jacque Reese discussed difficulties experienced by the web site. She also addressed the problem with AAAE Directors' attendance.

Greg Markovich discussed forming a student ALE organization.
