Enabling Student Success

Through the non-profit FIRST Center each participating ALE has an opportunity to participate in a specifically designed “club” experience for ALE students.  This experience includes free supplies, materials and activity guides for 5 clubs, (maximum of 10 students in each club).  These three sessions are designed to fully train and educate ALE personnel in this exciting club opportunity.

The sessions are:

  • Session I:  Introduction - General Overview – of the clubs, their philosophy, purpose and expected results.
  • Session II:  Information and Involvement Activities – explains how the clubs improve social and emotional intelligence and enable students to exercise their multiple intelligences through club format.  The Phase I clubs “Creative Expressions” are in Art, Writing, Technology, Photography and Chess.
  • Session III:  Implementation Plans and your ALE Actions – a chance to see the club kits, make suggestions, ask questions and learn more.

Attendance at all three sessions is required to receive totally free club kit, (to be shipped to your school), worth over $200 in club supplies, activities and materials.  This opportunity has been endorsed by the AAAE and Lori Lamb is writing a letter of support for these efforts.

Greg Markovich, Executive Director, Main Street Academy over 25 years experience as success coach and in program development.  Assisting Greg will be several practitioners and folks that understand ALE students.
